From the young and impressionable age of 13, I knew I wanted to be a DJ. Somehow I successfully annoyed my way into a radio internship after high school. At some point, someone called in sick at the last minute so the boss paid me minimum wage to play music and push buttons in the middle of the night. I was hooked.
Other than listening to the greatest music genre EVER here at The Wave, I spend my time with my hubs and my pup (adopt, don’t shop!), creating irreverent cross stich patterns for friends (thanks, pandemic hobbies!), hugging people again (thanks, vaccines!) hiking incredibly slowly, and attempting to pay off student loans.
