The Los Angeles Rams are headed to Super Bowl LVI after defeating the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 20-17 in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.
After trailing by 10 points, the Rams made a comeback in the second half and scored 13 unanswered points. A pick off Jimmy Garoppolo sealed the deal for the Rams with just over a minute remaining in the game.
Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham Jr. both finished with over 100 receiving yards, the first time two Rams players finished with at least 100 receiving yards this season. The last time the Rams achieved this in the playoffs was from Torry Holt and Kevin Curtis, during the 2004 wild-card game. Kupp scored the Rams’ only two touchdowns of the night.
Super Bowl LVI will be held at the Rams’ SoFi Stadium on February 13. They will face the Cincinnati Bengals, who defeated the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.
